I havent watched that one. I wouldn't listen to Ventura if he said the building was on fire and was dialing 911. His history of with being in gangs and other things he has done do not instill confidence in me. I started not to even post the other deal because I normally try and avoid this type of deal. So ok lets say there is a secret shelter for the Government? Ok, good bout time they prepped again like the old days for whatever. I can admit there was alot of construction when I was there. It's also no secret that some agencies are moving there. If there was an attack of some kind I would rather or Pres and other were not in DC. Like them or not, they are what they are.
I dunno, guess we will chat next year or like he said "maybe" we won't and I'll say ooops you were right. In any case lets keep working hard towards our goals!

Of course there are secret government bunkers, hell the one near Fort Richie (yes I know they closed Richie down) is in a freaking mountain, surrounded by 8foot chain linked fence, and if you even pull into the main drive you are stopped by two heavily armed black suburbans with Marines jumping out. Come on, OF COURSE the government has bunkers.

The problem I have is, the politicians think they are "so special" they are the ones that get saved. I would love to be a fly on the wall when those politicians ran out of food in their bunkers... LMAO

Ya, but those idiots place the food storage facilities away from many of the human shelters, so the ones not in the actual food shelters have approximately 5 years of food (from what I have been told). Thats considering everybody behaves and eats only their ration. Sorry but you put a bunch of lazy politicians in a cave with no way for them to lie to their constituents and no way to further destroy America, and they are going to become big fat blobs really fast.

A serious energy crisis with no gas,diesel fuel or heating oil which will mean food shortages in the east and north where the growing season is short and very few people planting food replacement gardens anyway, they're just planting a couple tomatoe plants and a few cukes and calling it a garden. I can even see the U.S. going belly up with our military stretched so thin and now we're in another war because we're part of NATO and like Korea, America will take the brunt of the fighting and pay for it as always.

Ok everyone, What type SHTF scenario do you envision?

1. Slow slide of our economy into an Argentenian type society.

2. Our commrade Obama turning this into a communist country and taking away our rights.

3. One of the many countries that hates us using an EMP device on us sending our society back to the 1800's.

4. Something else.

I think #2 is already going on but that's just me.:mad:

So do you just prepare for #3 and that covers everything else?

Many people would say an economic crisis. Where as I feel the same; I don't believe that the satisfaction of true chaos would get it's fill from the money factor... But more from the aftermath. Much like an EMP or major solar flare... the problems would exist from the people. Mainly people from the cities. I am not trying to offend anyone but it will be the fine people of this country that will destroy this nation. When crisis happens people become animals and will not waste any time to commit crimes. It's a sad thing to admit but the city dwellers would be in complete terror mode. I would rather have a major zombie apocalypse than what would truly happen.

I think #2 is already in effect for sure. I think #1 is inevitable they way we are going. The numbers are such that there will be no possible way to avoid it. The only question is how bad it will be and how long it will last. I think as things begin to go south because of inflation and we get the #1 scenario unfolding, #2 will begin to kick into high gear and things will begin to get really bad as different people deal with it in different ways. I think once it gets to a point, the way this country is now, with the looters and the moochers, things will get bad really fast. Additionally, with the hard working Americans, who still have reverence for the ideals which made us great, they will begin to cause problems in a different manner, as they buck the system, which is creating all these problems, and stop restraining themselves to civility in their dealings and encounters with the scum bags. So things will pick up at a certain pace, and then reach a point where they jump to high gear and unravel quickly. There will be much civil unrest amongst the scum bags and the hard workers, and the government will be fighting with both because neither will be happy. This is what I see happening and it is why I want to be able to shrink back into my place and out of sight as much as possible. Be invisible to the government and the rest of society, because they will both be a threat.
