Coffee has long been $10-15lbs where I am. Never seen it at $1. As for the world coming apart, we can thank the Fed for that.

And the worst thing is we have amatures in charge of our foriegn policy. If we allow Israel to get hopelessly backed into a corner, I fully expect nuclear weapons to become involved. At that point how much a gallon of gasoline costs will be the least of our problems.
I hope, no, I PRAY, that I'm horribly wrong in my estimation of the situation.

This Middle East thing is getting scary real quick, Iran parking warships - in Syria I think...Libya in ruins and looking to get worse...pirates killing Americans...Egypt...Greece, etc., et al. Meanwhile in the US, whose economy runs on oil, we have abandoned the gulf oil rigs. But, as our president is planning a Motown Night at the White House, everything must be peachy (a little sarcasm there).

Get ready for massive inflation and critical shortages, stay prepping while you still can.

I was listening to an unusual line of reasoning today from someone urging you to get yourself prepared.
            Unrest in the middle east.
Fuel prices increase to the point that some truckers can't afford to move their trucks.
            Just-in-time grocery delivery doesn't happen just-in-time.
People panic, clear the store shelves. Some can't get their government cheese when they want.
            Riots ensue.
            Interesting and very possible scenario.

The Middle East... Sometimes you have to let a fire burn.

Perhaps TEN nations will line up together against Israel. I just read the Mactader Sadir (sp) just got back in Iraq after being gone for THREE years. I'm not into numerology but I find this interesting.
