On Jerry D Youngs PAW fiction forum, I asked him if he knew where GoatLady was hanging out. Eeyore said here so here am.

I have selfish reasons for that. GoatLady is a fount of Herbal knowledge and I do ask her questions.

I have trouble remembering what I did last week, let alone a year and a half ago. I was doing a searce for food storage on the internet and I do read Survivalblog. That's as close as I can get it.

Started watching the youtube videos around late 2010, before finally checking out the forum and really liked what I saw. :D

Like others have said, it's a good atmosphere here, that seems to find the right balance between one extreme of 'planet X polar shift, nuclear zombies' and the 'lets make a list of 7 household items you might need in a power cut' stuff that passes for 'sensible prepping'....

More than that though people actually seem to have experience of what they're talking about, and there seems a sort of culture here, whereby new people like myself respect this fact, rather than just bs-ing to score imaginary points.
