  • 2012 Toyota Tundra Double-Cab TRD 5.4l V8 4x4

The vehicle that will tow my trailer (plan on a bigger one soon) and take me to the end of Armageddon, if it be YHWH's will and plan...

My favorite truck on earth. Too bad Toyota doesnt have a bed removal program otherwise my company would be outfitting these bad boys.
Did you see the Tundra Dually from a couple of years ago at the Detroit Auto Show? Go check that bad mamajamma out.

I am very jealous right now, the color I like and all....:)
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

LOL! Need to change that... Traded it in at 74,500 miles, owed $7800 got $16,000 trade-in... Not too shabby, as tires, brakes and tranny flush were needing to be done soon... FJ is a great vehicle, as long as you do not tow anything substantial...

Are those the stock tires or aftermarket ones you had installed? Haven't seen many come off the lot with the aggressive AT's like that.

The BF Goodrich A/T KO's are stock with the TRD package, which has Bilstein shocks and other mods geared for improved off-road handling... I love those tires, put them on my FJ at around 10k miles and they still had decent tread left at 74k when I traded it in.

Also has the upgraded Tow Package with oil & tranny cooler, tranny temp gauge, larger radiator, larger alternator & battery, pre-wired for brake controller, etc...

All said and done, since I caught it at a "dealer sale" to get people in the dealership, I got the TRD Tundra with other options CHEAPER than a SR5 or lesser model. Base model would have been cheaper, but I own vehicles for a long time, and that would have been no fun... Plus got 0.00% APR... If you are going to bend over for the beast system, this is the most gentle way... LOL!

Here is some pics loaded up and some addons...

As with all gas V8's, gas mileage could be better (15 city/19 highway), but I like the towing capacity and room for bug-out stuff from the FJ Cruiser. It is a powerful truck... I really like the de-chromed look of the TRD Rock Warrior. My wife calls it "Darth Vader."
