  • New ATV's

Really liked the Yamaha 250 Bear Tracker ATV that we bought last month. Started looking for another one so we can ride together.

Found and bought a Kawasaki Prairie 650 ATV this weekend and had a great time riding with my youngest son.

Then he spotted a Carter GSX150R2 Dune Buggy on Craiglist. I just picked it up this morning.

So in less than 2 months we went from having no ATV's to having to clean out the garage to make space for 3 ATV's.

Now I have to find a trailer that will hold all 3 ATV's and gear.

On the plus side, these things are great for offroading and really figure into my plans now.

Bugout vehicles that do not have to use the roads and can bypass roadblocks put out by man or nature.

You should really check out some of the new and used ATV' that are available.

You won't regret it, but your checkbook might feel it.

Uh, yeah...as long as you don't mind tons of electronics that are only available from the manufacturer. The new ones run fine as long as no water gets in the shifter switch or the throttle position sensor or...
BTW, did you know that some of the cv shaft boots (just the boot) costs more than two complete cv shaft assemblies on a car? These kind of remind me of a boat - a big hole in the water where you throw money in.

Since my BOV doesn't need "roads and can bypass roadblocks put out by man or nature", I can think of a lot better use of the money. :)

Well, having run my atv's completely submerged and having shredded at least half a dozen aftermarket axles through extreme abuse and still making it back to the trailer, I'd be prone to thinking that they were fairly tough little buggys. Enjoy the ride 45B. Just keep in mind that the 250 doesn't have enough grunt to tear parts out, but the 650 does.

What a long, strange trip it's been.....

I have these as extra vehicles and don't ride them in stupid ways.

My main vehicle is a Ford F250 Super Duty Turbo Diesel Supercab longbed with gooseneck hitch and reese hitch as well, so I believe I am doing OK on vehicles.

These will definitely go places the truck will not fit and they are all like brand new in condition and will be taken care of.
