Bought a Yamaha Bear Tracker ATV 250cc today and the kids and I and the Grandkids had a ball playing with it and riding all over in the snow.

It's a beige ATV with racks front and rear and a tow ball on the back with a 230cc 4 stroke motor and an automatic clutch with 5 forward and reverse gears. Has electric start and also pull start backup.

Bought it for a really great priceand was offered over 10x what I payed on the way home.

Simple to ride and even the youngest driver had no problems and loved it.

Now to make a pack setup for it and take it camping and hunting next year.

    What a great BOV.

Looking to find a snow plow setup for it as well and and it tows a sled easily, so maybe a high ground clearance type of small trailer.

Will the 250 move alot of snow? You can try it but I've seen the 700 series Grizzly bog down pretty quick. dunno
Great buy and sounds fun. I love 4 wheelers and their versitility, just dont have a real use for one right now. Shoot some pics of the camp etc. on here when you go

Same here... Not enough open land in VA to really enjoy an ATV. Would have to drive a ways to get away from fenced private land... Huge sections of open land, but private and fenced none the less... Would love to somehow justify one though... LOL!

Have had a blast riding the ATV and have plugged and put slime in the tires, so they no longer leak air out overnight. Has started every time and runs great.

Decided to not get a snow blade for it, but am looking for another, perhaps a little bigger one so we can ride at the same time. Looking for a small trailer to tow both with.

Got some ramps from my sister in law that allow me to ride it right up into the bed of my truck.

Have been watching Fishers ATV World on DISH and they have some really great places to have a lot of fun riding for days.

Am definitely taking this on vacation with us and spending at least 1 or 2 days riding and camping out.

I should have bought one of these years ago.

I usually put a strap on my ramps and secure it to a tiedown in the truck bed, cause one of my ramps tried to kick out from under me once. Just my .02. Congrats on the quad, you'll have a lot of fun with it.
What a long, strange trip it's been.....

Oh man, you gotta strap them things down, learned my lesson the hard way laying there with an ATV loaded to the gills with tree stands and gear on top of me while getting drenched with gas

Still have the arched ramps my sister in law gave me, but also bought a bifold 4 ft wide ramp that is a lot easier to load with. Don't have to worry about getting a little off and driving off the side of ramps. I got them for a really greaat price almost unused from a guy on Craigslist. paid way less than half of new.

It is now easy for my 14 year old to drive right up into the truck bed without being afraid he will tip over. With the other ramps, I would not even let him try.

And I always strap them to the rear hitch so they don't slide out.
