  • Protein Powder

How many of you store protein powder in your LTS? Can it be stored long term?
What is it that goes bad if not?

So far I'm rotating 2yr old Syntha6. No problems so far. Sealed in factory jug, kept in cool dry place.

They make them shaker cups with a spring like deal in it that seems to help.

I used to use a blender...it still seemed gritty to me but in milk it didn't...I must be a wuss :)

I have some from Sams that I use I bought it probably 3 years ago.

Tastes fine but maybe the nutrient levels drop over time.

yep, tasting ok is no guarantee that it still has any food value at all. Dept of Agriculture has all sorts of info about storage/nutrients.
