I suffer from what a lot of fighters do and that's lazy hands. When I get tired my hands drop down around my chest and leave me open for the punches to the head/face. I'm working on this by adding this weight to my routine by holding it head high and then punching with my other hand for a few minutes then switching. It also helps me simulate injuries while pressing on. It's the best solution I can come up with working out by myself.

I developed the bad habit, well maybe not so bad of a habit as it just makes me look like a dork, of almost constantly touching my forehead with my thumb. (this was before Forrest Griffin, but I noticed he does it too) I constantly did it. Between that and my always double checking my chin, by tucking it over and over, my coach told me I looked like I had Tourette's syndrome. I keep my hands up and my chin tucked though.אני אעמוד עם ישו וישראל

Heard Muay Thai guys used to place a tennis ball under the chin and do some of the movement work with it there.
As far as the hands, yeah it sucks. 2 minute bag rounds then 2 minutes of one for one with a partner with one striking and the other kinda swatting or pushing the hand to the side to make an open for a counter strike. Those things have helped me a bit with it.
And sometimes, you just get worked....
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"
