  • simualting bleeding bag

Ok a few months back our group training went over different types of bleed and worked on how to stop the bleed from minor scrapes to serious life threating artery bleeding. This got me to think on how to simulate artery bleeding with squirtingand all. As you know when trainging your should make it as realistic as possible. So with all this being said, i started to draw up and think of a way to accomplish this. this is a good training tool for when coving medical training imo. This is fairly low cost to build and easy to put together with little tools. this whole thing from start to finish takes about 30 mins to build and cost about $40-50 bucks and is reuseable.

Whats the point of having and not knowing how to use? You dont have a car and not know how to drive it do you? Having the tools for the job is worthless with out the knowledge of how to use it!

Ok starting with the air blower you will need to remove the tip of it by unscrewing it.

As you can see in this pic the tip that you just unscrewed has a hole which will leak water through

now you can determine how long you want the hose. IMO make from shoulder to ankle long making it useable all over the body if desired.

now take the 1/4in coupling and insert it into the clear 1/4in hose which is very tight not needing any other hose clamps. the coupling gives you a jet stream spray.

this short video covers how it works and allows you to see the jet spray. now i addded red food dye to make it look like blood and give it more real effect.
