This is a good video tutorial of the subject for any shooter, woman or man. There are a few items I would like to comment on though the instructions, as is, are excellent.
1) You are making a loaded weapon safe by unloading and proving that it is unloaded. Use extreme caution. Make certain the safety catch is engaged and keep the muzzle pointed is a safe direction.
2) I prefer to unload directly from the magazine tube using the shell latch. This way I only have to shuck the chambered round.
