  • GA Hunters Safety Course Online Test

Finally...after all these years....took the Online version of this test. Now to the 2 hour classroom test and then to the Sporting Goods store to get my license....right in time for Turkey Season. And its good that me and a buddy and his wife are all doing this together so we can all learn together. Especially the field dressing part.

One thing about this test was, yes it was easy (didn't even read the sections on Survival and Firearms, just answered...:D). I really did learn some things from this. It was long and boring and even put me to sleep the first night but finally finished. Scored an 86 missed 7 of 50.

If any of you ever have the time and are not hunters, or maybe even a chizzled Okie Vet, go take one of these tests to brush up and ya never know, you may learn something new or get refreshed on something you forgot....and for the record, I can not identify ducks for crap, I just aim and slap the trigger.
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

I played Big Buck down at the Bowling Alley until I had calluses. Trigger finger really is kinda itchy.

For some reason, I imagine Gunny teaching the class........."LISTEN HERE YA VARMITS, YA WANNA GO HUNT SOME DEER HUH? WELL PULL YOURSELVES UP BY THE BOOTSTRAPS YA JACKWAGONS AND PASS THIS TEST BECAUSE I HATE LOOKING AT YOUR SORRY BEHINDS WASTING MY TUESDAY NIGHT WHEN I COULD BE WATCHING DOOMSDAY PREPPERS!!!"

Instead of bringing an apple for the teacher should I bring a box of 7shot and a swivel strap?

Its kinda ironic, the guy that sold me the .308 is a member of the church that is giving the course. And it just so happens to be 3 miles from my work. Works out.
