  • Lye Soap Making

    Team MIO and Team Hit or Miss as well as another couple who taught us, made Lye Soap this weekend. Pretty awesome stuff! I showed them how to make charcloth and utilize it as well. They have an awesome setup for a soap mold with a wood hinged box!

    I think that would be some very rough, burning lye soap since it wasn't cured at all.

      I windered about that in the video but I'm not sure there is that much of a concentrate of lye in that ash. Probably not like what we did when we made ours. I dunno, it is best to let it dry/cure for several weeks
