    yeah. You read it correctly.
Other day in my quest to make some healthy snacks. I said "protus..why not some protien shake brownies...."

    whats the point right :p

So i looked around on the web, found some recipes, but settled to make some bars instead.

Now, those of you not watching your sugar/carb intake can add some things to make these better.

    what i did was-

2-3 scoops of chocolate protein powder ( whey)
    1 cup of quick oats
    1 tbsp baking soda
    1 tbsp backing powder
water till it was a batter you can pour.

i spread it in a stone backing pan, and slow cooked it at 225 or so for 30 mins or so. Then let them it in the warm oven for a while to cool down.

They came out ok. But to make them better (again for those who can eat the carbs /sugars) add some chocolate chips, or nuts and peanut butter!

right now. i plan to have them as between meal snacks.

i may experiment some more with different flavors etc making different things.

yeah as soon as i told 'J" that i was gonna try browines we giggled a bit to when i said it...

you should try them, but put the sweets or sugar free chocolate in them. The oats give them an oatmeal flavor...so i need either cocco mix for it or real chocolate.....
but thats a no- no on my end.

but fwiw ..ive went down 1 complete BDU size (pants wise) already......which is why i got prompted to give it a whril...

so far so good. I cut them into 1.5 inch sqaures. since the oats are full of carbs/sugars. I have them in 2 pack snack baggies. I have about a 1/2 doz 4 inch bars.
with nuts etc, they'll sit heavy, like some oaty/granola products do.
I dont have any gas issues with the whey protien, it just slows down the other end if i dont eat veggies regularly LOL
