Ya got that runners high goin', don't ya? lol How many miles do you run and how often? I try to do as much as I can. But I'm constantly at war with nicotine. Sometimes I win a battle...sometimes I dont. So, that holds me back. But on average, I do about a mile maybe a mile and a half. I'd like to do more.

I try and run 5 times a week, I always get at least 3 times, it varies. Back in the day it was 5mile in 35min or less but these days I keep it at 2 or less and maintain 8-9 min miles. Once a week I'm doing a 43 lb GMHB run, did 1/2 mile nonstop working towards the mile in 9 minutes by fall in boots with bag to be ready for hunting season if things hold together that long.
I'm lifting 2-3 times a week at lunch (30 min) and hitting the bag once a week in addition.
I'm doing some work on a gun for a guy at work who gave me a heavy ground fighting bag he decided he wasnt ever gonna use. So that will be added in soon!

Can I get an amen!! Great job.

        110% correct- it's for yourself.

But your family will likely benefit from your good health also :)

You need to market that slogan "doin' for yourself" to Nike.

I do it because when I'm a real, real old lady, I can still go shopping, to the beach, traveling and not die early because I sat myself in a chair and used the remote for exercise. I do mine on a treadmill in a nice, safe, air conditioned house. Why do runners, who usually get addicted, prefer to do it outside?

How long have you been running?

                    Good going Matt!

I think I would bring a light. To see where I was going and so people could see me better.

I do run treadmills when the weather is bad though, besides God doesn't like me enought to send me something "unsafe" to play with while i'm running with my danty 6ft 215lb frame hardly armed. I dunno if i'm addicted I'm just to dumb to quit

                          This mornings workout:
78lb bag, 57yd run down the drive, drop it, shoulder it and repeat till done. The video is dark but you will see enough and besides it's 0500 and 84 degrees so i aint waiting till daylight cause it's to dang hot! 112 today, hotter tomorrow
Why, cause BOBs are heavy, your wounded buddy/family member is heavy and I'm gettin old and heavy !
Do what you can without hurting yourself, keep pushing, lets go!
