      So i guess the million dollar question to everyone without acess is what would you use that is indiginous to your area?

          Well lets see you can use the other sheath of nettle once the pith has been broken out, also the dogebane. I have made braided cord with the inner bark of cedar. A very good book is Cedar by Hilary Stewart, it expains everything you would want to know about how to use the Cedar tree. I have used Rattan when I was in the Philippines. I have aslo used rawhide strips. If you can get fine fiber pieces you can make them into cordage. I usually like to do a 2 strand twist first, and then twist those together if I need something larger in diameter.
          I'm seeing the need for a video camera.
