The one huge thing I have learned by "dry firing" my gear, especially for someone with wife and child in tow ~~IF~~ in a REAL emergency, is how HEAVY gear gets REAL FAST! From FAK to cooking utensils and stove, from water filter to shelter, weight adds quick, and I haven't even added the battle rattle yet! Basically, it is NOT going to be FUN, nor will I be uber-tactical fast...
If you are REALLY bugging out with wife and kids, you need a lot more "stuff" to make survival "do-able" and not suffering... Suffering wife and kids will not end well...
I would call the kit in your video a LRRP or multi-day kit WITHOUT family in tow, just recon and patrol duties in mind...
