  • Trip Flare Idea

tried to post this on Jerry D Young's Site but could not for some reason. It is a trip Flare made of common items I worked up a few months ago. I had originally planned to send Jerry several Ideas (Not all of them as that could compromise my security) but some of the more interesting ones. If anyone can let him know about this idea or Jerry If you see this idea you and anyone else who wants to is free to use this for Defense.

Never mind can't post it. If anyone wants to see the design let me know and I can Email it to you somehow.

[QUOTE=cdevier63;57790]Spero, tell us how it works.[/QUOT

The half inch pipe is pulled down and trigger put in notch. The trigger is hooked to trip line. Trip line is activated. rubber bands pull pipe and dowl forward. Nail in pipe strikes flare primer flare launches. hook to peg or tree and aim up. Simply watch for flare.

(Flare is type used in flare gun)

Really good idea. Been thinking of getting a flare pistol and a good supply of flares to go along with it.
