550 cord tip

We all know that you can use 550 cord for just about everything...1 of the top uses is to replace boot laces. Well I always had the problem of the getting the end to go through the eyelet. This guy has a great tip to use super glue on the 550 to make it easier to get through the eyelet and you don't have to melt the 550. I think this will also work to repair shoe laces.

You can also use some heat shrink tubing, kind of like store bought laces.
