I am pretty good at starting a camp fire but from time to time when it is wet outside a small can of chaffing fuel is a wunder, just light it and set your wet kindling over it and it dries out fast and gets the main fire going, and you can then pull the can and replace the cap for the chaffing fuel can so you can save it for another time, easy to pack and light and I think useful in wet environments.

Excellent idea, but what I like even better than that is the Trangia alcohol burner.
