  • An unusual BOB question:

And preface with "stuff it Matt/Sharpshooter, I ain't buying it in pink."

    Moving on...

Anyhow, dog BOBs. Not exactly something that immediately comes to mind, but is something I should be more prepared for. The mutt should be able to carry her own weight figuratively and I was wondering if anyone knows a good brand or has any experience with some of the commercial ones. I've looked online, but most of them come in the eco-friendly reds and blues (yes, they come in pink as well). Others from reputable dealers like Ray Allen are pretty expensive, but have MOLLE which appeals to my gear happy tactical side.

Anyone have one they like or any suggestions? Would be for carrying her own food.

I don't have a brand but before our big dog went to the big kennel in the sky, he carried his own food & water. They can only carry about 10-15 % of their weight, and like people need to work up to it. Keep the sides well balanced like you would on a horse/mule pack or the heavy side will bounce down around the belly.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

I'm a back-packer, and often take my dog. Here's the pack she carries...

Premium Outdoor Appliances. With over 50 premium, ultra-premium, and luxury brands of outdoor cooking appliances, fire features, patio heaters and more.

Good pack. I put her food inside zip-lock bags to keep it dry. She carries a bit of my gear too sometimes. Nothing essential. I believe they make them in purse dog size for you....

That's my tactical ammo resupply vehicle right there.

Now the other Okie with the ferocious zombie eating saber toothed dog. He's a different story. Figure an ALICE M16 pouch would work to carry that one around :D

Whats the point of having and not knowing how to use? You dont have a car and not know how to drive it do you? Having the tools for the job is worthless with out the knowledge of how to use it!
