Forest Ranger with an Adirondack style Pack Basket

The Pack Basket is a common sense solution to the age-old problem of too much to carry and only two hands to carry it with. I discovered these handy items while attending a trapping class. The first thing I thought of was

So simple it's one of those "why didn't I think of that already" head slap items.
Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

It would be good for those traps for sure. I tote them in my alice large frame now but this might be a better idea

When I first saw them it was at a trapping class...and I thought "wow...all the uses".

The customization is endless...from two-straps and a can to central air and a DVD player...

I have a pack basket that I got for Christmas a few years ago. It was from L.L. Bean. I haven't used it in the field because I want to keep it "nice".

I love the idea of the trashcan/bucket on the old Alice pack frame. I wouldn't mind messing one of those up.

            .
thats like buying a gun and never shooting it or buying a corvette and doing 50 on the intersate where its 70. how do you know that it is a good carry bag or even a good style bag for you with out ever testing. imo you need to at least have it packed with supplys ready to go in the house for an extra grab bag if you dont already have it that way
Whats the point of having and not knowing how to use? You dont have a car and not know how to drive it do you? Having the tools for the job is worthless with out the knowledge of how to use it!
