P Series Can Opener

The P38 and other varieties of can opener. It is a simple tool but we have alot of new people and I teach alot of new kids that I take hunting with me every year who do not know how to use it. Myself and Sharpshooter demonstrate the "how to" in this video using an empty soda can. Make sure the notch catches the side of the can and apply leverage pressure as demonstrated. The more you do it the easier it gets and also a regular food can is easier than this empty soda can that actually started collasping on me as we shot the video LOL. We tried to get all angles so you can see what is going on and like any other piece of gear make sure you use it after getting it.

I have a bunch of those little suckers. They work fairly well.

On an aluminum can, they are easy. But some metal cans are pretty tough. It's a good tool to have in a mini survival kit. Small and light.
