  • Emberlit stove question

Looking into trying this stove out found it on the hammock forums I belong to. Dose anyone have expierence with it? I am really leaning to it due to its size/weight/compactness and multi functionality. I have many alcohol stoves I have made, a jetboil, esbit, etc. but I lik the different fuel source aspect and other features of this one. I have about talked myself into it but would like some feedback from someone who may have field expierence with it. came up blank over at the hammock forums.
Here is a link to it. Mods if its against the ethics here i will remove link, or you can. Thanks:cool:

Thanks for posting. Titanium is cheap enough for the weight savings.

i used a alum dryer duct pipe cut down to 4 inches high. cut two small lengths of wire coat hanger to drun through it to hold my canteen cup/cup.
drilled holes in it top and bottom.
since the duct has a seam it can packed flat or rolled up.

this was back around 03/04'...its worse looking now LOL..
i think i showed the same deal in my canteen movie on the youtube channel. I also use a soup can cut down..that my soda can stove fits into. this was a pic of it in the test/eval stages.
i can run the soda can stove or flip it over as a wood stove.

                new pics of it.
