Crystal Fire Starter

Looks like a modified fire piston. Found at Wilderness Solutions. Has anybody seen one of these. Below is the product description.

Amazing fire starting device that causes spontaneous combustion using air. Transparent design reveals the burst of light at ignition. I havent seen this yet but if you or anyone else does I sure would like to see some stuff on them. Myself and Sharshooter have attempted a few homemade fire pistons with no success other than a mini workout!

I have never seen or heard of a Crystal Fire starter, but one of the few things I learned from the show "Man, Woman, Wild" was when the wife started a fire using steel wool and a 9 volt battery. She had instant ignition, it was very cool! So I figure I can include some plain steel wool and 9 volt batteries in our cars and other preps.

I would like to see one as well. Sounds pretty cool.

I know a trick with 2 quartz crystals. Strike them together in the dark and the glow. Pretty damn cool and I showed a "scientist" something he didnt know. Maybe that is where The Atlantians got their Crystal Energy from....................will it go in my gas tank?

Ok, here is the web site. From what I gather, the crystal fire starter is a glorified piston, and a bit spendy. But they offer flint-n-steel, bow drills, lenses, pistons, etc.
