Found this site( http://www.gravitasleatherworks.com/...restarter.html) thought over all this page is a bit over priced . Then I found the striker and tinder tube , got one ordered, figured for the price if it works it's definitely worth it. Seems like it controls the strike and gives you a guaranteed burning flame. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out when I get it.

The tinder tube is an 'updated' version of the 1500s Spanish match that was used with matchlock firearms. I wonder how they waterproof the jute? I see an experiment in the near future.
