I like this mess kit. I purchased two of them in the 90s, then they seem to vanish. As I remember, they are East German. Until this year, I didn't have a way to attach them to my BOB, so it was inside; not my first choice. This year I found a cover that fit perfect...a SAW pouch. It is light weight, carries it's own Nesbit stove and tablets, matches, condiments, bullion cubes, etc. The bottom is a pot, the top is a pot with handle, and the inside is a fry pan/pot with handle. Some army/navy stores have a similar one. I have seen them on EBAY from $14-$99.
