I was thinking about picking up one of these to keep in my daypack. Anybody hear any reviews on these? http://www.flashlightbox.com/index.html

There have been a few post on the cree flashlights .
I love mine but it has a weakness and thats water. These things are ok in the rain but any serious water will kill them quick.Knowledge is Power, Practiced Knowledge is Strength, Tested Knowledge is Confidence

I went with a windup. It may not be as bright, but I don't have to worry about the batteries going dead on me. Just a thought... I bought one at Bass Pro for something like $14.00, and shortly after I went to Harbor Freight and they had the same thing for $8.00. Maybe I should have done some shopping first? I had a gift card for Bass Pro, so I used it. Next time I get a gift card, I'm buying ammo....

No idea. I haven't had it long enough, and don't use it very often. I'm sure someone on the web knows though. I'll be doing a search on it. Thanks. Hmmm, I also bought a wind-up radio, for the same reason. I need to research that too. I thought about buying another one, (because 2 is 1, etc.) but haven't yet. The info might influence that decision. Thanks again.

I've had one of them "shaker" lights for about 5 yrs now. It's still just as dim as it was the day we got it! I can tell you a tire can be changed by it because murphy was with me bout 2yrs ago at 4am.Originally posted by pitbulld45 View PostHow long do wind up flash lights last?
