  • Tactical Tailor Discreet Carry case.

Tactical Tailor has recently come out with some new rifle/carbine cases. I got one sent to check out, and thought I'd post some thoughts about it.
Let me preface this by saying, if you havent already figured it out from other posts, I am an admitted Tactical Tailor junkie. I've been using their gear since about 2003, maybe earlier. The only thing I like better than TT gear, is some custom made gear I have. For the uses and wants that I have in nylon gear, I dont think you can do better as a prepared citizen, than TT for production gear. Thats not to say that there arent other good makers out there, as there certainly are. I just feel that TT's lineup better meets the requirements that we as prepared citizens have, and want, and they are also very well priced in my opinion. There is one other line that I think is right there with TT, and in fact integrates well with TT gear, but thats for another post/another day. I say all this, so that its clear that I am pretty biased here, so keep that in mind.

I have used a couple of different cases over the years, but some time ago settled on a couple of Eagle cases. This is the first case to come out in some years that I like enough to turn me from the Eagle ones. I'll apologize in advance for the video quality. I know its not professional grade by any stretch, but I wanted to get some thoughts up and threw this together real quick. I have not had a LOT of time to use this case yet, but, I can already tell from the limited use I have gotten from it, that its on the top of my list. Unless something catastrophic happens to change my mind, such as the stitching blowing out or something (about as likely as an asteroid hitting), its my current favorite.

Who made your gun? What's the price for such a fine weapon? Did you do the camo job?

And finally, is that a poncho liner for your backdrop? I LOVE IT!!

I built it from scratch back in 2006. It's been my #1 go to gun for quite a few years. Yes, I did the camo job. Been doing my guns (and some other folks) since around 2003. Yeah, its a poncho liner.

          Good job on the video.

TT makes great stuff. I like the case and it does look very discreet.

If someone wanted to further disguise the case, they could add some kind of tennis logo, etc. -- It would look like they were playing tennis and carrying a tennis racket. Just a thought.
