Interesting but I think after the multiple strikes it took indoors I would need to see it. The hand warmer, I dunno them disposibles are cheap and lightweight.

Good find Matt, I'd like to try the handwarmer. It reminds me of the kind my older brothers had when I was a kid.
As for the firestarter I'll just stick with my flint and steel. I also have a couple of ferrocium rods and they really throw some sparks but there's something about doing it with my flint and steel. It might be that I've found tons of chert on my BOL that throws good sparks with my steel too.
