I've really fallen in love with TT's new pack line. After getting my Ext. Range pack and Modular pack, I knew I had to go ahead and get this one. The three together really make a great system for my uses. This is a GREAT little pack, with a lot of versatility. Its similar in size to a Eagle Yote as can been seen in the pics. I've got a couple of specific uses for this one, but it will also make a great stand alone day pack for anyone so inclined. It attaches and detaches quite easily to other packs and gear. Like I said, I have my own uses for it, but I'll leave it up to the individual reader/user to determine if it fits any particular roles for them or not. The quality is typical Tactical Tailor, excellent in all regards.

This had the pack pretty full, but you could still squeeze in a few more small items for sure. I did not have the poncho liner rolled up nice and tight either like I normally would, so that caused it to take up slightly more space than usual. This was just to give a rough idea of what could be packed in it.

I am looking at this seriously for attachment to a chest rig I am getting soon.

I like the ability to also run it with it's own separate shoulder and sternum straps.

I am looking for something to add for rural patrols.

Thinking some H2O (bladder), minimal food, spare AK mags, G19 mags, Rain Gear (plus hat, etc.).

I try to have E&E and nav gear on my person, but some may end up in the pack too.

One other option I was thinking of is the USMC ILBE Assault Pack which is a little bigger (1500 ci vs. 1180 ci for this TT pack). It is in MARPAT (which I like and prefer ;) ) but I'll have to mod it so it can mount to the rig. I am not sure if the straps tuck away on it either. I know it is designed to attach to the full ILBE pack.
