Should be a good crowd there this weekend including some new and newer folks. Great time to bring trade items like gear you aren't currently using, etc.

If you have a gas mask, bring it and we'll have a class on that.

If you have a neck, bring it, and we will have a class on chokes :)

If you have gear setups you'd like to show, get advice on, try out, etc. bring them, and we will discuss and have a class on that also :)

See you all anytime after NOON on Friday.

I just cut up a couple of trees that had blown down recently, to bring up. Also if anyone has an alice pack frame that you don't need, I'm looking for one. Dennis

Wish I could make it... need training on gas masks never had any formal training. But being on call in Orlando puts the kabash on that, maybe at the FL campout. Have fun

Forecast shows the possibility of about 40 at night. Test your cold weather gear!

Heading up there tomorrow morning with a load of firewood, then back around noon. Will post any gate code here and also on my voicemail of my cell-

got some groundsheets /wind breaks done. Trying to get more finished but was outta commission cuz of injury. Trying to get three made. Got some visual blemishes but nothing other than that (fabric slipping and machine issues aka an 8 yer old trying to sew while I was at work LOL) .

As to the weather long as it ain't a monsoon I'm good to go.

There is no gate code, repeat there is no gate code. They have changed the system and the lock is a key lock

DO NOT LOCK THE GATE, REPEAT DO NOT LOCK THE GATE

You can CLOSE THE GATE but do not lock it

                          question...
                          what if ...
the wind was blowing big time?
sun shining... no rain... but wind blowing
how would a bunch of campers handle classes? have discussions?
the wind was rough at my home condo! maybe it wasn't so bad at the campout!

my guess. is move a table and chairs into the shed... put a table or two on west side of bldg. outside edge to act as diffuser to divert some of wind..?

just washed all that "multi-nature rhino" ickyness off me ;p

was great to see everyone and meet knew folks.
good talks and great stories about life lessons lol

weather was "brisk" and the wind was a factor in how you dressed. over all it was great camping weather.
me and my buddy slept well under tarp de protus...i was rocking a 20f rated kelty down bag and him a zero f slumberjack..my only complaint is my bag is a "ultra lite" style so its a few inches narrower and shorter. length didnt bother me but was a lil snug on the arms if they went to my sides. this caused a few cold spots but nothing that was unbearable. i slept as well as i do at home in my bed.

made some good trades..got forced to look at the evil rhino...and over all had a great time...

my buddy had a good time as well..said it was great to see templar and sam again and was impressed by lowdowns course's he taught.
next time i wont be crippled and ill be able to be a lil more active..

again great time and hope everyone had safe drives and look forward to the next one.

sorry i missed you rock...we got to camp lil after 9am.....i was looking forward to some what if stories.....lol

Arrived Friday and got set up. Great time seeing "old" friend and new ones.
Wind arrived after the fireside chat making sleeping interesting as that swirling wind
moved leaves around making you think large numbers of furry creatures were
                                invading. LOL

Great fun, very educational as usual and some great memories that will last a lifetime.
Great deals during swap, buy and trade time to help me and Tinman finish our setups.

Thanks to all who made it such a great time and a special thanks to our instructor that sacrificed his son
to teach us some good tricks! LOL;)
