Moved to campfire for ya.
OK, so many GA folks are rar'ing to go. How about something simple like a BBQ/meet and greet/shoot at the range in Hawkinsville again? We haven't done one of these in a few years.
Central location, one of the few public ranges out there.
In the past we have brought a BBQ charcoal grill, everyone brought something to pitch in to eat, and we have spent a half day BBQ'ing, shooting targets and shooting the breeze.
More than happy to help folks with some shooting instruction if it's needed for free. Not something mandatory but if you feel like you want some help, I'd be more than happy to help. I'm no Carlos Hatchcock, but I've helped "more than a few" ;) people learn to shoot better over the last couple decades.
So the real question is- are the folks North of Interstate 16 really willing to make an hour or two hour drive? Sorry but I hear a lot from N. GA folks but when it comes down to showing, only a handful ever have over the years. Yet we have people drive 7 hours up from South Florida for events. The Hawkinsville drive for me is a couple hours as well. I only know 1 or 2 that it's close to.
Let's hear some commitment from some Georgia brethren and we'll set a Saturday date.Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

The Wise Owl is down.
This is about 2 hours from me. Not a bad drive at all. I drive 341 to I-75 in Perry anytime I go south.
Lets start getting a date going. Not only would I like to meet and shoot the breeze with all of you, including those dang OWA folks, but I would love some instruction. I have never been taught how to shoot other than me aiming at a target and trying not to miss... :P
Would love some pointers and some help zeroing in my new scope. I would gladly donate a grill or two and some grillin utensils. Maybe bring some vittles for the pot luck. You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
