Hello from Texas! My wife and I are in Karnes county, Texas and are looking to meet up with some like minded people. We are actively and aggressively seeking some more land to purchase to create a permanent retreat. We are Christian, independent thinking, conservative folks. We want to know some SERIOUS preppers, to start getting to know some potential members. We understand the need to train for security, but food, water, meds and other provisions are just as important. Thanks a lot! Yeah, if you're "afraid of being on a list", chances are, you're already on a list. We're not looking to do anything illegal, just take care of our families!

Hope you find some folks close to you xcpatriot. We're in northern OKlahoma and hopping to meet some folks somewhat close to us as well.

You never know where you may find perspective members for a group.

We have been members of a church of about 1000 for about 3 yrs. In the last few months, we have slowly found out that there are 5 other couples (out of 16 couples) in our Sunday school seniors class that also prep!

Some have only been prepping 4 months and some 10+ years. We have a Dr, nurses, teachers, welders, ammo reloaders, active and retired law enforcement and military, and homesteaders. In todays world, you may be 2000 miles from home when SHTF. It is nice to know that you, or your family, may have fall back locations and like minded caring folks to help look out for them while you are making your way home...and vice versa.

While everyone lives within a 30-40 mile circle, and are prepping individually, we are starting to share training and building skill sets together. Life is good and getting better.

That's true. barfife. The internet has made many good things like that possible. It will be important though to have friends close, like you and your family do, if we lose all means of long distance communication...other than walkie talkie or ham radio. For now though we enjoy learning from each other to prepare.

We are still looking for some good folks. We envision a place to go camping, spend some quality family time, train and get things in order. If you have your things in order or are wanting to seriously get them in order, get in touch please. Whose serious?

We have created a BOL that is located in Edwards county Texas. We are looking for serious people with serious goals. Families are welcome and encouraged. We are NOT racist, anti government, anarchists or "talkers". We have been at this for years and finally have a BOL to go to if times get tough.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
*1 year supply of food for you and whoever you will bring to the group.
* battle rifle for yourself and anyone of age to SAFELY operate one.
* 1000 rnds of ammo for each rifle.
* 10 magazines for said rifle.
* a good knife for each member of your family.
* a water filtration device for you and your family(or whoever you bring) capable of filtering 1 years supply of water.
* an open mind
* willingness to work
* a suitable shelter for yourself and family( tent is fine to start with)

We, in turn, are offering a secluded place in southern Edwards county for people to go in the event of TSHTF.* There is a permanent water source as well as a wet weather source.* There will be an interview process. It may just be several get togethers in public places. You will need to provide adequate identification. A background check may be necessary. All prospective members will be voted on by existing members.
We will be communicating, supporting, and sharing knowledge with other MAGs. If you're that paranoid, don't even bother with us.
