Maybe a general thread on how to go about setting up a meet up is in order?
We have hosted a good many over the years. Some well attended, some just people we knew and 1 or 2 others that arrived. I think overall the key to a good gathering is consistency. The event that is only tried once won't always create a vast success.
Yes this might mean you hang around the food court at the gunshow (or wherever you meet up place is) by yourself for an hour.
But if the effort isn't made, then you can pretty much expect to never have any results.
Any tips, ideas, etc. for getting started that anyone else would like to share?
