    ok so was playing around on the internet and ran across a diy mre picture that caught my attention. the concept is amazing and for a guy like me who is on a budget this is perfect.

    Whats the point of having and not knowing how to use? You dont have a car and not know how to drive it do you? Having the tools for the job is worthless with out the knowledge of how to use it!

      only took about 15mins to pack everything and makes it easy to pack in the bob bov for limited space and even in the house buckets.

        I made some as well for upcoming hikes and deer season. One requires some boiling water and is better suited for the colder days.

        I had some leftover bag material so I made one for my kleenex/toilet paper and put in some alcohol pads to clean my hands with. I can also use this to start fires

          Back in the day we did this with the Lipton dry soup mixes, the little packages of dried fruit or raisins and a granola bar. It wasn't till years later that I saw a real MRE and realized it had the matches, TP, gum, etc.
