  • Screwed up on my supplies

I had hurricane kits stored in a couple of footlockers. Today I went into the closet where they were stored Lost and forgotten at the bottom. I had forgotten about them Since I was rotating from my pantry and surprise, it was dated back from purchase date of 1/24/05.
Several of the fruit cans burst open. I had some weevils in some pasta.the pictures below show the stuff I am going to try and see what they taste like. Does kraft mac & cheese go bad? Hopefully not a waste of money or food especially in these times.

Mac and Cheese may go bad. My mom served some that just tasted nasty. I dug the box out of the trash. Turns out it had expired several years before.

I agree that he Mac and cheese can go bad. The powder cheese will turn brown. The pasta might be alright. It might brown with age too. But you did say the pasta had weevils. Unless you just want the extra protein in there...:p I say dump it all and start fresh.

My PC took a dump last week, been doing this on the phone , apparently my phone is smarter then me. Thought I did it right but apparently not. PC should be back tomorrow evening. Will post them up then. Sorry

Soda crackers dated 1-16-05 = BAD, soured and soft taste was terrible.

Mac &cheese = bad ,dated 2-2-04 cheese powder was discolored did not spread properly and taste was sickening. Pasta was fine added the elbow Mac to preps rotated to front of line.

Gatoraid pouches crystallized and discolored would not blend to make drink, could not find a date on packaging.
          To be continued...

Growing up I was a huge baseball card collector. A few years back I thought I would get back into it because EBAY was awesome!

So I buy a few boxes of unopened packs.

True story, I grab a box of 1987 Topps. I open it up (there are about 6 of us in the room all reliving our childhood dreams).
Oh there it was, that nice pink stick of gum. Almost 20 years old to the day.

Yes ,it was not good, not good at all.............. LOL
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
