It was literally about six years after Y2K that we had to start buying bar soap and razors again. And then a few years later I found more in another spot.

Having made soap a couple times- it's a major PITA IMO- the 8 packs of Ivory are a really cheap time saver.

back to the original intent of the thread. ---

we just a had a major water pipe and comm line problem.

pvc cleaner and glue.
pipe couplings
pipe couplings for the ?? thick pipe used at my (your) home (which isn't pvc!)
electrical connectors, splicing, tape, solder, etc..

oil about 5 quarts would fit in our 20 $ budget!
grease 5 tubes on sale at the tractor supply
repair/maintenance manual for that useful machine around the place.
