Email sent to offending company 3:45 pm Sunday 10-17 will post reply if their is any. I included this link so they could look at this non sense themselves.

Received a standard "out of the office" or "thank you for your request" form email 3 days ago. Have followed up two separate times about this but NO real replies from the spamming company-

Would like to hear back from you regarding all of your reps spamming my and other preparedness websites for your products. You SHOULD care that your reps are making your company look awful by doing this.

Look forward to hearing from a real, live person on this matter.....

After another day without a reply, I emailed them again-

Still waiting for a reply to my email about your reps spamming my and other preparedness forums.......

Surely a reputable company would not condone such shameless action.

I also noted that in the original "out of office" "thank you for your request" form email they sent me it showed me as "subscribed" to some email mailing list of there's!!! Could these people get MORE SLIMY???i NEVER requested to be on their stupid email list, nor for their dragbutt reps to spam the forums here. I'd be really careful with any dealings with a "company" like this.

Not sure if my weeks misadventures count but here goes. My main focus toward prepping right now is to make my house more marketable so I can leave the city and go rural. So this week I focused on much needed yardwork. I cut down several Brazilian Pepper trees, removed a few stumps from hell and cut all the branches into the four foot lengths acceptable to garbage men. I removed a nonfunctional water softener(came w/ the house) that had sprung a leak and got all the pvc plumbing ends glued together successfully with only two trips to Home Depot.

Tomorrow I was to work with my Ham Radio Club to finish a group build of J-Pole antennas so I will have more range with my 2 meter. Unfortunately, just found out that is postponed til next week so I guess I will be tackling the last tree and tearing down the remains of my garden fence instead. Seems home buyers want nice lush lawns, not gardens and chickens in the back yard. Imagine that! Apparently, things like clotheslines which remind a buyer of work or chores are not conducive to selling. LOL

It is kind of hard tearing down what I considered progress toward self-sufficiency so that I can sell this place and achieve more in a better place. Oh well, one step backwards towards the goal of two forward. :)

Got my first order of mylar bags and oxygen absorbers!!! Woo hoo starting to feel like I am making some progress. Going to see if the wife and I can agree to a little more $ in our blow category in the budget so I can spend a little more on preps. Would like to get at least one water jug a month plus some other stuff. Got to try and sock some more food away too.

Did some more carbine work with full chest rig and all gear loaded on...

Found some big problem areas and now adjusted to fix (hopefully this re-work does it, as I do not want to buy more molle gear):

            1. Moved rear sling connection from CTR buttstock near buttpad to an HK hook-type connection at rear of receiver on extension plate. This allows me to quickly tuck buttstock under arm for faster reloads and take the carbine load off my hand on the pistol grip as I work the magazines. It also allows for a decently fast transition from right shoulder to left shoulder.

            2. Lowered chest rig height... Easier access to mags and gear but high enough to not affect pants and belt.

            3. Re-situated pouches. Removed large FAK pouch for a smaller one. The large TT FAK pouch was just too bulky and would get in the way of sling and handgun use. I don't like losing the FA supplies the big kit held, but it just doesn't work. I need to add it to a backpack or something...

            4. Add 8x binoculars to the TT pouch on left side. Binos are a must I am coming to learn more and more, for many reasons...

I will try out my new mods next weekend maybe... but sneaking around the house doing "house clearing" went well.

In the last week or so, i have killed four roosters and put them in the freezer. Changed the brakes on the wife's vehicle, helped a friend do his. Helped a friend load up some steel (structural, heavy gauge) framing studs, in exchange secured enough of them to build my next addition of pens.

Bought 300 lbs of rice from sams. (assured the wide eyed teller it was fertilizer for my pepper plants, lol) Joined the forum here, and starting to make contact with others.
