Hi- I'm a newbie so sorry if this has been asked and answered already. I would like to have your thoughts on some water related questions. I'd like to keep a few 55 gallon drums of water in the garage and don't want to have to rotate more then once a year (if that). If I filter and treat the water before use am i safe? 2nd question: I have a swimming pool in back which is maintained in the summer and I let it go in the winter. Can this water be made drinkable?

water in barrels never goes bad :)
though you may need to treat it/shake it good to make it taste better.
