Upped our water storage capabilities by 550 gallons this weekend!

We picked up 2 275 gallon water tanks this weekend. They were filled with honey, so now we have to clean them out, figure out how to attach a hose or ? to the outflow, work out the details of rainwater collection, maybe pick up a gas powered pump from Harbor Freight for drawing from the creek during droughts, and I don't know what all else. lol But, it feels good to have one more thing in place.

We sold two of the quads (the little bucklings) and that funded most of the water tank purchase. So, we still have the mama goat that we paid $50 for, plus two little does, and two water tanks.... I'm thinking that buying that girl was a good deal! lol

If anyone has any advice, I am all ears!
