      Ok! Ok! I admit it tech! We're in the process of looking for a BOL and though I have the time my brain is fried by the end of the day and I know it will take every brain cell I have left from my young and dumb years to study for and pass the test!...chuckle...

          If you don't have electricity, you can't have radio. So once you've learned something about what radio is you will need to make sure you have a way to power that radio.
          ever made a fox hole radio? No battery there. Pulls the signal out of the air. True its not the best but no electrical power needed such as a plug in the wall or a battery that may go dead.

            The Previously promised third blog entry should post by the morning.
            I cover another subset of compromise antennas that will work, and demonstrate using an antenna tuner. Feel free to ask questions. If it doesn't post by 8:00am eastern, let me know. I think I set it to post then.

              Ok, so there's the guy who...

              ...is going to be doing a talk soon over at a convention in FL... and he would like to know if there is anything specific anyone else would like to know about radios before he finishes up his presentation and submits it to the people for inspection. Building tinfoil hats will not be covered in this presentation.
