  • Reliance AquaTainer Failure

Back in the spring when I moved into this place I started the process of stocking my storm shelter
Dapatkan pengeluaran hk hari ini yang tersaji dalam data hk untuk menentukan kemenangan pemain togel hk sebagai hasil keluaran hk prize yang di sambil dari live hk pools resmi.

and I decided to purchase another water jug rather than using the ones I maintain in the house. I was in the process of conducting my bi-annual rotation of water and went down there to do so and place less water in the containers and allow room for freezing so the containers wouldnt split. I had locally purchased a Reliance AquaTainer from the evil empire of wallie world and guess what. It had already ruptured. What a POS.

    Anyone else had issues?

Wow, sorry to hear that. I have looked at these, but never got any. I'll wait now. Thanks for the post Matt.

This is it sitting on the shelf as you can see in good condition with no reason for failure. I know the temps are getting cooler and containers are sucking in and expanding with the temps but this was not even a year old. It is designed to be on it's side with a spout built into the lid. Even the recycled water bottles I put in there lasted longer than this junk!

I've got 4 of those Wally World containers and they are doing fine after almost two years but they are stored in a semi-heated garage, never below 50 degrees. Where did it fail, Matt? At a seam, side, bottom? Did it freeze? Just curious, so I can look mine over.

Seam near the bottom and it didnt freeze. It has dropped below freezing here but not enough to actually freeze anything yet. Maybe I just got a bad one, dunno, shouldnt be that hard though IMO it aint rocket science it's a water jug. I cant take a pic of the fail zone cause i drop kicked it across the yard to the trash can so it's a little bigger than it was LOL

We have five of these in the laundry room. Haven't had a leak (yet) but the spout broke on one. Went on the manfg. websight, and a new spout cost as much as a new container at Wal-Mart ( about $8.00).

I've also had problems with them both splitting and the spout breaking. I do have to say that the one that split was in the back of the truck and the road was pretty rough so it could be normal wear and tear. But I've used several and the spout always break and leak early.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

We had some a few years ago that did good for 2yrs before we gave them to our kids for camping. Last weekend we bought 2 new ones from wally world. They are stored standing up not on there side, I dont know if this makes a difference. Sorry they broke on you Matt.
