got my mylar bags today

Today filled up 6 bags. Popcorn, oats, black beans, 10 bean soup, 7 bean soup and great white northern beans. Double sealed with my vacuum sealer and 300cc o2 absorbers so far air disappearing amazingly well. I am impressed and my wife says addicted to this. Lucky for me my lovely wife is also involved and supportive.

Found by trial and error to fill the bags up as much as possible. I had some with too much air. I have corrected this and now they are working great. Going to get more stuff and fill more this weekend.

Sam's has baking soda in a 13.5 lb. bag for like $6. Thats good stored in the smaller bags.

I bought three bags, should I just leave them sealed in the factory ARM and hammer bags?

If air is a problem...seal up most of the bag and leave just enough room to slip in the wand attachment from your vacumn cleaner......suck out the air......then seal em up.......
