Most of the items on that list in no way should be thought of as "last minute preparations". Running out to top off the food supplies okay but bandaids, scissors, paper towels, plastic utensils etc should be commonly stocked items in your preps.

The fellow that authored this meant it for the person that had done nothing! Just kind of an "oh crap! I haven't done anything and they were right" last chance to prep list. Unfortunately, that will describe most of the country.

the 5 lasrge bottles of Veg oil must be for frying the potatos or the frozen meat as i don't see any flour,baking powder or any kind of eggs to make some soda bread or pan cakes. That list needs to be re worked with more usable food and less hygiene products if a person is short of cash or on the move or they'll be the cleanest hunk of skin and bones on the planet
