  • Any problems with doing this?

I have 100 oxygen absorbers but only five containers ready to go. Can I just seal up the mylar bags without oxygen absorbers and come back later and cut a corner open and drop the absorbers in then? That is, when I actually can use up the absorbers?

Looking at about a month to do that.

Yep. Sticky'ed thread on this subforum will give you all the details. Just push down and purge as much air out of the bag as you can. Be sure to MARK the bucket so you remember to go back later.

I have a similar issue and was wondering if you put an unopened bag of absorbers in a jar with some dry ice, let it fill the jar with CO2 and then opened the bag, would the rest of them remain useful if the jar was capped?
What a long, strange trip it's been.....
