does anybody store hardtack for there long term storage

I haven't made any yet but will in the very near future, you never know when you may get hungry and not be able to light the fire or use a stove.

I have googled that and pemmican and there are quite a few recipes out there. Just haven't taken the time to try them. If I get to it, I will post my results.


Actually, I think the best article came when I ggld 'how to parch corn' or just 'parched corn'. Try that.
