Have you ever checked out batteries.com? Our old battery kept losing its charge, so just bought a rechargeable lithium battery for our digital video camera. I read that you should charge your battery fully each time before you are going to use it for the day. I am doing this with the new battery.
I have a 4kw off grid solar set up which runs my house and 2 gennys and a few inverters and battery banks and lots of spare parts. Does that count?:)
Could you explain in simple terms what you have, where one starts, ball park how much $$. O.K. just tell me the book you started with. I'm going to the world of Amazonia, thanks 2682 !

I agree rechargeable batteries are very useful and could give you a lifetime of battery usage. But an EMP could damage any red dot scopes, generators, and other electronics. If things get real bad, we will be living in the stone age anyway whether we have batteries or not. I do store batteries, both rechargeable and non. Just hope we don't get an EMP (or other disaster). But then again, maybe the stone age was better than some of the stuff they are jamming down our throats now. So stock up on rechargeable batteries, generators, SOLAR PANELS, and everything else. GOD BLESS - see you in TEOTWAWKI.
Anyone know if there are special considerations to storing batteries ? I dont store them downstairs in the cool, got them in the original packaging, keep'em dry, anything else ?
