Does anyone have any real good ideas on how to survive in a city dwelling. Moving right now is very complicated for my wife and I. We're hoping to make it happen in two years from now. However, if something did happen here in Pennsylvania; what would be a way of not being a mass death population?

Just read, read, and read some more of the posts on this site. You know your situation better than anybody here. There's lots of good information you can incorporate into your plan to take care of your family in your situation. If you haven't already done this, the first step is to start laying in water, food, protection. After that, make your plans and prep towards being able to carry them out. Read, plan, and prep! Don't be afraid to ask questions, don't be worrying about "will my question sound dumb." Just ask them here and somebody will help you with what they know. Good luck!

      As Slingshot states read
knowledge is power, practiced knowledge is strength, tested knowledge is confidence
After reading then do, after doing then test it
Lay in supplies, harden the structure, hide your assets from view
Make a list and do something daily. If it's putting better screws in the doorjamb then thats the day, it took 10 minutes then spend another 50 min reading. Keep it simple like this and in a short time you will be amazed at all thats accomplished. Moving may not take you to a safe zone as no one knows where "IT" is gonna start. These are just my thoughts and hopes and prayers

Start with food and water storage and then find ways to cook, heat, cool and light without the power grid. Then find close sources of water and ways to distill or treat without the water coming from the tap. Read this forum and try listening to survival podcast. Go to Amazon and get books like The Urban Survivalist Handbook. learn how to grow your own food in containers so you can bring your food inside or take it with you. Do house hardening and some firearms. Prepare and read and test. Lastly just remember if an emergancy is upon you the time for preperation has past.
When an emergency is upon you the time for preparation has past.
