      you can use mylars if you want to protect the salt, but O2's are not needed.

      Amen brother. People make it more complicated than it needs to be. Salt doesnt go bad. It may get hard a simple fork or knife will break it up. I have salt thats over 15 years old and still good. I store mine like protus mentions.

        I have 200 pounds of salt stored in individual gallon mylar and then stuffed in 5 gallon buckets I think its 8 buckets. Do you think that will be enough?
