peaches

peaches are being harvested now in georgia.
at the park where i work there are a couple of trees.. some years there is average production . but just before they start getting ripe something strips them.. racoons? deer?

so we buy them...
i asked google what is a low price for 1/2 bushel of

peaches. and it said.

final cost of bulk peaches shifts dramatically depending on where you source them and whether they are cosmetically perfect.

we found them at pearsons near ft valley for 20 but if you buy several boxes you get the guy down to 15/ half bushel. we bought several. we should have bought more. we owed some folks for favors we'd rec'd and drove home stopping and passing them out... several folks commented that this was a $40 or more gift.
